Starting on a Diet

I have finally got tired of looking at my fat self in the mirror. On top of that, I feel so unattractive that I not really interested in "bedroom activities". Summer is here and I had to go out and buy some pants for the summer, and was shocked that I needed size 2X! No wonder my jeans are so uncomfortable!

This morning I started on the New Lifestyle Diet Plan.I did lots of research and decided to go on the New Lifestyle Diet Plan. It is a portion controlled, nutritionally balanced weight loss program. At first, you drink shakes during the day and eat a healthy dinner (meat & veggies) in the evening.

About 10-15 years ago, I did a simular program and lost the weight and pretty much kept it off until I got lazy watching what I was eating.

This morning I weighed in at 252 pounds and hubby weighed in at 198. Hubby bought us a Wii and Wii Fit so both of us started our Wii Fit routines this morning. Our plan is to get up at 5:00 and walk the dogs, then do the Wii Fit and start our day.

Granted I will have to take a nap during the day, but the doctor saids I need to do that anyway because of my stroke. If you are interested, you can read Recovery from my Stroke.

I will keep you up-to-date on my progress - nothing like letting other people know about your progress to keep you on track.

Suggestion & requests for files always welcome.

See you soon!

  1. Your blog looks great so far, Judy! Good luck on your diet. I struggle with my weight as well and I currently joined weight watchers, and I've lost 5 pounds so far. I too have a Wii fit, but I haven't used it in a long while. Maybe I should bring it out of retirement...lol! Looking forward to hearing on how your doing with your weight loss.

  2. Good Luck in your diet, I struggle with mine to. Since I quit smoking 3 years ago I put on quite a bit of weight that needs to come off. So thank you for the file and the inspiration the scale will be great for a before and after scrapbook layout.
